Behind NexOps is Ked Mardemootoo, who has spent more than a decade architecting and running cloud infrastructure that doesn't implode at 3 AM. From network closets in Malaysia to leading regional cloud migrations from Singapore, his career has been built on a clear principle: technology only matters if it makes businesses faster, safer, and leaner.

Ked has led and worked with teams across the Middle East, Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Americas. Beyond regional leadership, he has also spent extensive time on the ground with local teams in Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Thailand — building not just systems, but trust and resilience across cultures and time zones.

With his more recent client, a Hong Kong–based multinational, Ked has served in the capacity of Head of Platform and Security. In this role, he drives zero-trust adoption, large-scale cloud cost optimization, and the modernization of legacy platforms into secure, containerized environments. A key focus of this engagement — and of NexOps — is replacing license-heavy, cost-heavy systems with open-source alternatives that are deployed and maintained in-house. As part of the company's Center of Excellence, Ked explores new solutions, validates them against enterprise standards, and imparts knowledge to internal teams — ensuring savings aren't just achieved, but sustained.

Beyond client work, Ked is also an active contributor to the tech community. He has answered dozens of questions on Stack Overflow in his areas of expertise and regularly shares automation scripts and tools with the open-source community on GitHub. This hands-on exchange of knowledge keeps NexOps grounded in real-world challenges and emerging solutions.
